Everything you need for video playback is there. Wish Apple could finally solve the AC3 licensing but heh...
This App was my savior for my fun ! I can watch my series and movies with OPlayer, I bought the app because I knew it is better then VLC. Thank you for the support of the app.
I use a fritz box 7490 as server and everything just works. I convert all the movies to MP4 and it streams perfectly to my iPhone as well as iPad 3, definitely 5 stars!
Has a LOT of functions, including the ability to navigate music files on other devices on the network, the ability to act as a FTP server so that you can copy music from the PC via FTP, and of course other standard music player functions. It lacks equalizer support and has some issues when accessing another FTP server, like on a PC. 9/10 stars. Thanks!
I use it often. I wish it had some basic equaliser that allows to further increase volume for spoken word tracks etc anything too silent.. It has some features that I dont need. I tried to use the play Internet source functionality a few times but I couldnt make it work. I like that it plays in the background and That it plays flac files is very important to me. Good to be able to jump just a second or so . Anyway quite a good job , thank you very much !!!
After trying many iPhone Apps on my iPhone 4, this is the first one that can play my IP cameras .avi videos. This really must be rocket science! Thanks Olimsoft!!!

Some bad moments

iPhone 5s with iOS 8.1: In MKV, MP4, ts, m2ts video files, only audio playback ob f MP3 (no AC-3, DTS). Fast browsing of the SMB directories. AirPlayer (only UPnP) or Infuse (UPnP and SMB) are better.
While playing an HD movie on an iPhone 6, it drained the almost fully charged battery in one hour.
Tried streaming video using this app and VLC. VLC crushed Oplayer. Oplayer was choppy and laggy with a big banner ad. VLC was much faster (although not perfect), free and no banner ads. Im deleting Oplayer!
I downloaded this app and was VERY pleased with it, except that I found the ads to be quite intrusive. So I sent my $3.99 and everything was fine. However, I had to delete the app and reinstall it, and the ads came back. 1 . I tried to buy it again, hoping it would do that for free, but no..they wanted another $3.99 2. I contacted their support, but no response in 48 hours. 3. Apple, very quickly, refunded my purchase. I suspect this is one of those apps created by a hobbyist, dumped on the iTunes store and if some money comes in its like money for nothing. So, try the free version and if the ads dont annoy you, fine. But if youre like me, avoid this one!
Im sorry to report it does not play .flac files. Im really annoyed when the product does not do what it says on the tin and this one has annoyed me profusely. One star could have been unfair if I was reviewing this app generally. Im a fun of music and I wanted to enjoy good quality pieces when Im out and about without having to pay 7 pounds for paid player. This does not deliver, hence this rant
